I'm so thrilled to kick of 2014 with a feature article in the magazine Click. The magazine is a part of the Click community--women professional and hobbyist photographers. Their mission is "to provide women with a safe and supportive community in which they can share images, form friendships, network as businesswomen, find their passion, and grow as artists." I subscribed to the magazine last year and I've really enjoyed it! I like the updates on new products and inspirational stories about other photographers--I highly recommend. The article written about me, titled "True Romance" is about how I got started shooting weddings. In summary, I had gone to school and studied history and museum studies, but found myself working in a job in politics and in a cubicle--not loving it. I took my photography passion into my profession...with years of crazy long hours and hard work. The article talks more about specifics and my approach to my photography today. I also spill the beans on what's in my camera bag. I'm so flattered and honored to be featured in the issue and hope my story might inspire someone! You can get an iPad edition or a print copy of the magazine which just came out today. The cover image is by Sue Bryce and there's a wonderful story about her as well.
